[00:00:05] Eric Goranson: It's Aroundthe house

[:

[00:00:32] Sarah Listi: Now, as long as I live, like it was so pungent and disgusting.

[:

[00:00:47] Sarah Listi: to remodeling and renovating your home, there is a lot to know, though, we've got you covered. This is around the house.

[:

[00:00:54] Eric Goranson: to the round the house show. This is where we help you get the most out of your home through [00:01:00] information education. Thanks for joining me today. We are live at the National Hardware Show and I have one of my best friends right here, Sarah Listie.

[:

[00:01:11] Eric Goranson: Girls Garage Murder House Flip.

[:

[00:01:16] Sarah Listi: stuff. You're like my personal hype squad. I always feel like you're like the nicest person and I love it. I'm so glad I get to hang out with you. So have you had a chance to look around at all today?

[:

[00:01:29] Sarah Listi: I am dying to get into it.

[:

[00:01:38] Eric Goranson: check out. Okay. One of the things that I just checked out here before coming over here was amazing. Coast Products, they're a Portland company, so they're actually up the street from me.

[:

[00:02:04] Eric Goranson: Yeah. Those things, when they die, when they're rechargeable, they just fade off and they just go right in the toilet. These react like a regular battery, so they're like a high quality battery, but they're rechargeable, so they'll last longer. Well, and

[:

[00:02:22] Sarah Listi: And a few of those other lithium batteries, they're great, but they tend to, like, not have the best life expectancy. Case. And if you're charging it 10, 20, 30 times, I want it to last more than that. Yeah.

[:

[00:02:34] Sarah Listi: That's cool. Smart. I'm excited to see that.

[:

[00:02:38] Eric Goranson: one thing guys in the media industry just happens out there. Everybody's thrown away AA batteries, like, but the caseload, it just happens with

[:

[00:02:50] Eric Goranson: and they're not expensive.

[:

[00:02:56] Sarah Listi: incredible. So I'm like, okay, that's cool. All I can think about is when my kids were young, [00:03:00] can you imagine having those, like with some of those toys? I had, my son was obsessed with this one toy that required like eight D batteries.

[:

[00:03:11] Eric Goranson: think about the video game controls for kids out there playing the X boxes or whatever. Then you could actually recharge those instead of just buying the, the big Costco packs that you're tossing away weekly. The

[:

[00:03:22] Sarah Listi: They're in all of our cell phones, et cetera. Like, why are we not doing better? That's I'm so excited. So that's on my list for sure. And

[:

[00:03:34] Eric Goranson: Yeah. They're like, Hey, let's make this. I'm like, okay,

[:

[00:03:48] Sarah Listi: Cause I love those solution based. Exactly. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like things that are like really solving our everyday life issues.

[:

[00:04:02] Eric Goranson: Oh, okay. But this was cool. So it's your lounger. But they cut a hole out in it where your head would go. So you can lay on your face and it's got a face thing. Like if you're in a massage or chiropractic chair.

[:

[00:04:14] Eric Goranson: it's like a, it's like a massage chiropractic chair, but it just sits in your head when you're not doing it.

[:

[00:04:24] Sarah Listi: stomach. I love that. I was just thinking comfort wise because there's nothing worse than when you're laying like on the beach or whatever and you're like, how do you put your head?

[:

[00:04:33] Eric Goranson: straight down. You can look down and so you could

[:

[00:04:35] Sarah Listi: reading a book and there's nothing worse than waking up with a crick in your neck. Oh my God. That happens to

[:

[00:04:45] Eric Goranson: And I was like,

[:

[00:04:49] Eric Goranson: is it? It's like, it happens every time. So it's just like, Oh my

[:

[00:05:01] Sarah Listi: So I'll have to send you the, it's like peppermint, I think 90%, but it's still worth it. It's amazing. Yeah, that's awesome. Okay. So now that I feel like I've got a few things on my list, What are you looking for that you haven't seen yet? I always like the

[:

[00:05:25] Sarah Listi: something.

[:

[00:05:39] Sarah Listi: I've heard good things about it. And it looked pretty cool. Like I briefly saw it up in the media room and I was like, Oh, I'm excited

[:

[00:05:51] Sarah Listi: new. You know what I mean?

[:

[00:06:08] Sarah Listi: Maybe for like heavy industrial use shore, but beyond that, like you could pretty much get away with it. So I love when I see those new brands, especially from an accessibility standpoint, and then just not every brand is sold at every store. So we need more than one or two. To have access to it. Funny

[:

[00:06:24] Eric Goranson: I did a last week. I did a, a live thing with our Fox 12 station there that I might my shows on my buddy, Greg Nibbler. And we did, I did a thing on get battery or gas outdoor power equipment. I love this. And Oh, the hate I got, it was epic. I feed off that. I was like, yeah, I had 40 people that were like, Wishing hate on me and I'm like, I just, I just

[:

[00:06:45] Sarah Listi: You and I have joked about this so many times. It's like whenever I post about a specific tool company or lack of for that example, when people just go crazy over like their XYZ fanboy, like I don't want to drop a name, but and you're like, buddy, come on, there's more. [00:07:00] Tools come in a rainbow of colors.

[:

[00:07:07] Eric Goranson: the local power company is my sponsor of my TV show. So everybody was calling me a show for the power company. I'm like. No, I'd much rather drive my old truck than be driving around an electric one.

[:

[00:07:25] Sarah Listi: my vehicles are still gas, right? If at some point I'm replacing it, of course I would consider it. I'm not anti electric, right? But I think there's a time and a place for it. I don't mind if my, let's say batteries run out mid mo.

[:

[00:07:52] Eric Goranson: Like my buddy's got an F 150 lightning. Okay.

[:

[00:07:56] No,

[:

[00:08:00] Eric Goranson: It's fast, but if you're going to go more than 200 miles, you're getting into

[:

[00:08:16] Sarah Listi: Cause I'm like, again, I'm not me personally. It's not for me. Right. But I'm not against it. I think it's great, right? I think it's wonderful. But it was so funny to me because I was like, First of all, it's not mine. I didn't invent it. I'm just saying this is cool because it is something new. It's what you're doing.

[:

[00:08:40] Eric Goranson: I think that's where it's going to be a little bit more of an issue is getting that stuff done. It's going to be tricky.

[:

[00:09:02] Eric Goranson: And when, and just get the distance that way, because you can still be running the electric motors, but if you hydrogen power generator, now you're using that technology, but you're not worrying about charging because you just hydrogen up. You can still

[:

[00:09:23] Sarah Listi: That's a big direction they're going to be heading. So I'd love to see that because I do think we need, and I, and from an environmental standpoint, right, let's not split hairs. We all know that like mining for. Chemical lithium and all that stuff is not great. So I don't love the, the statement of eco friendly cause yes, but also let's, it's a little more complex.

[:

[00:09:54] Eric Goranson: in theory. Yeah. I think the technology will get there, which will.

[:

[00:10:00] Sarah Listi: Yeah. That's so crazy. Yeah. Honestly, my husband and I talked about this not too long ago. So it's funny that we're talking about this now you and I are known for going off on our tangents. Obviously we're good at this. Yeah.

[:

[00:10:24] Sarah Listi: Yeah. And I don't love

[:

[00:10:41] Eric Goranson: So if they go sell a Ford F two 50 diesel, they need to sell so many electric vehicles to offset the emissions to have this average number, but the hybrids don't get them. There's they'd have to sell like 50. Four hybrids versus the one. Okay. So that doesn't make sense,

[:

[00:11:01] Sarah Listi: That seems like a silly way to regulate. I'm all for like green. Everything is good. Come on. That's a little silly. I don't know. So

[:

[00:11:09] Sarah Listi: yeah, I think it's an outdated. I feel like we need some balance. They're moving along. Yeah. On the name of outdoor

[:

[00:11:18] Sarah Listi: it is controversial, but I'd love to, I think it's something we, we need to talk about more because I want to better understand it.

[:

[00:11:34] Eric Goranson: Landscape companies that are out there

[:

[00:11:43] Sarah Listi: Seems totally crazy. Like I remember when I first started talking about them, everybody was like, that's wild. And I'm like, it's not.

[:

[00:11:57] Eric Goranson: I love that. Yeah. And so. You could have [00:12:00] three batteries on the charger, three in the machine, and you're just cycling them. So you can almost go forever.

[:

[00:12:16] Sarah Listi: That's nice. And I'm on three acres and mine will mow the entire yard without an issue. Now if I'm mulching, it'll go a little quicker, but it's not, I'll still get it done pretty quickly. So it's, they've come a long way. I'd love to see that continue. And how many

[:

[00:12:33] Sarah Listi: there's not the vast majority.

[:

[00:12:46] Eric Goranson: a sudden you start taking care of yours now. You're like, yes,

[:

[00:12:50] Sarah Listi: But even then, like talking about power tool equipment, I did see a couple of briefly again, didn't get to really check them out, but there's some neat like mulchers, wood chippers, et [00:13:00] cetera. Yeah. That's something that I would love to see eventually go battery. Yeah. Because those type of engines do require yearly or semi annually quite a bit of maintenance.

[:

[00:13:10] Eric Goranson: I hate that because when you have any kind of outdoor power equipment in today's gas, right? So you put that in there. Yes. And if you didn't throw in stable

[:

[00:13:22] Sarah Listi: Yeah. It's,

[:

[00:13:31] Sarah Listi: got a hot mess. It's funny. Cause when Texas, we obviously have hurricanes. And so we get these horrible storms that come through and a lot of people have gas power generators.

[:

[00:14:01] Sarah Listi: Like every October or whatever, I'm going to maintain all of my equipment or every three months, a quarter, because otherwise I, it's such a sad situation when somebody ends up losing really expensive equipment to something that is so expensive. So it's such a five minute fix. You know what I mean? It is an ounce of prevention is worth hours of care.

[:

[00:14:21] Eric Goranson: the stable in. I actually, on my generator, I'll take the gas down. So it's like quarter tank. Sure. I'll pump most of it out, put it in the truck, use it. And then I always have a full gas can. And about every month I will throw that in the truck. Yes. Use it. Go get another one. Put it in there.

[:

[00:14:51] Sarah Listi: Yeah. Ready. And always at peak performance. And there's really nothing to maintain other than making sure your batteries are kept up. But I think we're a ways away for that. I think there's not a big [00:15:00] enough market for the need yet, but I would love to see that happen. Yeah. That'd be great. Yeah. Because otherwise you're, we have the batteries for sure.

[:

[00:15:21] Sarah Listi: It's a good investment, right? But it's that maintenance and not, yes. And if you're not always as familiar with it, like I don't work on those engines now, so it's tough to stay on top of that all the time. So I'd love to see that keep evolving

[:

[00:15:37] Sarah Listi: more.

[:

[00:15:40] Eric Goranson: Yeah. It's nice. Cause I can go get it. Sure. I have to store it. Base becomes an

[:

[00:15:56] Sarah Listi: And so of course I had to load it all back up and we, yeah. And then I ended up [00:16:00] repairing the tire. Cause I was like, I need to get this done, but it was super like, it was a frustrating thing. And so that's obviously knowing where to go and where to rent. I

[:

[00:16:10] Eric Goranson: It's a local hardware store and it's all new. There's stuffs all within a year. And when after a year, they

[:

[00:16:27] Sarah Listi: What's going on? What's going on? I know I, I rented a Kubota for a couple of weeks. Nice year before last maybe. And it was so hard to give that back. I wanted to, I was like, this is, I would like to keep you forever. Yeah.

[:

[00:16:45] Sarah Listi: weeks.

[:

[00:17:06] Sarah Listi: Exactly. I will say John Deere announced was year before last. Uh, battery powered UTVs and tractors, but I haven't seen them really come to market. I saw one

[:

[00:17:30] Eric Goranson: If you didn't have anybody to operate, you could actually. Get on there. That's crazy to me. So they were, you couldn't have somebody in a call center across the country. That's an operator running it like a video game.

[:

[00:17:47] Sarah Listi: Some people view that as they're taking away a job for so it's very hard. It's a slippery slope, right?

[:

[00:17:55] Sarah Listi: I first go. Sure. Bennett in the benefit outweighs. All right. Yeah. I look at that. That would

[:

[00:18:08] Eric Goranson: That's a good point. Think about how visceral it is when you're operating outdoor power equipment. You can tell that, Oh, that, that guy's on the wheelbarrow.

[:

[00:18:18] Eric Goranson: always on that. And I don't see how you could have your head on a swivel. Like you

[:

[00:18:23] Sarah Listi: So that's interesting. Cause I honestly, my mind goes to, I hate to ever take jobs away from like hardworking people. I think those are the kind of the backbone of our country. When I would love to see more and more, I want desperately to see more and more young people get into the trades. We need it so bad, but that's a good point.

[:

[00:18:42] Eric Goranson: Even before that, I'm just going, I don't want to be hurting people out there. You see, if you're ever driving around in a Tesla, you can see that. It knows everything's around you. So

[:

[00:18:51] Sarah Listi: I know it does. Tesla tunnel coming in. I was like, Oh my God, I have to like, just look down and close my eyes. A little bit. Okay.

[:

[00:18:58] Sarah Listi: get worried about that. So [00:19:00] I'm like dying because I'm like, that sounds like I can't imagine nothing worse. I'm not like overly claustrophobic, but maybe I am.

[:

[00:19:08] Eric Goranson: think I used to be just when,

[:

[00:19:28] Sarah Listi: I thought that was so funny. Cause I'm like, I can just see them like opening up Ikea directions or something where it's like a two. But with B1, I don't know.

[:

[00:19:36] Sarah Listi: back on C7. Where's the hardware? Oh no, we're short a washer. I don't know, I just think In my mind, I just thought that was Like, I just could see it.

[:

[00:19:45] Eric Goranson: Musk and his rocket scientist thing, I'm sure that was probably well planned out

[:

[00:20:07] Sarah Listi: So I'm excited to see some of the new stuff. Oh, I

[:

[00:20:13] Sarah Listi: I know, I know. I think they're, I think that's a company to really watch too in the next few years as they have them and Jenniverse as well. Yeah,

[:

[00:20:23] Eric Goranson: Oh,

[:

[00:20:36] Eric Goranson: perfect for somebody that lives in a condo or an apartment because now you have backup power.

[:

[00:20:43] Sarah Listi: and you have backup power without taking up a ton of room. And like I have a backup, like a gas power generator. I was telling somebody the other day, I think it was, I met, I've been talking about this last night when our power kicked on a few weeks ago and one day of running it, like that is a hundred dollars in natural gas.

[:

[00:21:04] Eric Goranson: but yeah, I'm actually converting mine. I have a gas generator now, which I'm going to, I'm

[:

[00:21:17] Sarah Listi: That was rough. And with kids, it was like, this is an experience. We had no running water. It was a rough freezing temperatures. Yeah.

[:

[00:21:34] Eric Goranson: And so. All these trees were coming down. Oh. And I mean, our trees are like those Trees.

[:

[00:21:41] Eric Goranson: my God. Yeah. Yeah. So I mean, there was a house that's what, six houses down that had four, 200 and something year old trees

[:

[00:21:49] Sarah Listi: Like, I hope they harvested the wood and did some It's, but

[:

[00:22:03] Eric Goranson: They'd open something up so I could go out that way. But my daughter lives, she lives in an apartment a quarter mile away from the house, which is awesome. So I took the Jennifer's unit over to her. Sure, yeah. And so what she would do is she would take that and at night plug in her heated blanket. Because she didn't have enough to keep the house warm that way.

[:

[00:22:23] Sarah Listi: it. I will tell you, I, it's funny because talking about this is before I had my Jennifer's, which again, I love, and I love keeping like a couple of small things on it, like, well, not small, but the fridge or like one of the windows, et cetera, when you need to, and it just to take some of the load off of the generator for pure reasons, because when it runs that long, it's expensive and it's a lot to put on a one unit.

[:

[00:23:01] Sarah Listi: And I'm like, it was so cold. So quick. That's cool for you guys. Okay. Yeah, it was really cold. We were ready to die and everybody's like pipes are freezing and I'm over here with a heat gun following our neighbor's pipe so they don't burst. Like I was trying, but. It was an experience for sure. So our fireplace is gas.

[:

[00:23:30] Sarah Listi: Yeah. They're wired in. Right. It was such an experience to Oh yeah. But I was so glad for that small inverter, and I will tell you that saved my life. Yeah. That week. 'cause I can't imagine being with that internet was a humbling experience. Yeah. So my, so I had a, you would never think that

[:

[00:23:43] Eric Goranson: I didn't lose anything. Even my internet worked. Okay. So that's lucky key. So my generator, so I, I designed my house that way. Yeah. So I'm, I'm. Yeah.

[:

[00:23:54] Eric Goranson: Thanks. Yeah. It's so I have Comcast in there. So I had their storm ready wifi, which goes off the cell phone, [00:24:00] pay a hundred and something bucks for it.

[:

[00:24:03] Sarah Listi: Xfinity, whatever they call it. Same thing. Okay. And they've been trying to push getting the storm ready. That worked. Okay. That worked. I wasn't sure if I should do it or not. Cause I was like, is it going to really work? Okay. I'll have to look into now. I'm like, now I'm sold

[:

[00:24:14] Eric Goranson: So now I had wifi. Okay. It's not the fastest, but it was working. Sure. I can stream a movie.

[:

[00:24:31] Sarah Listi: Let me back up, but you could charge your phone off it, but you could have a radio. And I think it's always important. No matter how I know that we're so past technology. But we've lost phone coverage for days before in a storm. So I'm the big believer in, you don't have to go too crazy nowadays. Yes. Cause we have all these other options, but like having a few basic essentials, a few batteries, flashlights, candles, et cetera.

[:

[00:25:03] Eric Goranson: out? No, and I designed my whole system, so I've just got a, like a 10 KW generator.

[:

[00:25:23] Eric Goranson: That's smart. Yeah. And so then it's light refrigerator, the beer fridge.

[:

[00:25:37] Eric Goranson: it runs the rest of the house. And so most of the time we lose power.

[:

[00:25:55] Sarah Listi: unit. See, that's crazy.

[:

[00:26:09] Eric Goranson: here. So I think about it. I live, I don't live out in the country.

[:

[00:26:14] Sarah Listi: minutes. Yeah. I'm a little further.

[:

[00:26:24] Sarah Listi: lot. So we get it pretty often. Cause sometimes it'll just get really hot. Texas is great that way.

[:

[00:27:01] Sarah Listi: Because it's so expensive to invest in to do a full solar system. And I would love to, cause it would save a lot, but it would take a decade to get the money back. Oh yeah. And I, it's, you wonder, okay. But then at the end of that 10 years, is it now obsolete? So I know it's a hard thing about how things get, yeah, it's hard to know when to pull the trigger

[:

[00:27:18] Eric Goranson: It's like buying your phone. Yeah. That phone's going to last two years. And then it's that, and then it's clearly out of date four years. It's completely

[:

[00:27:31] Sarah Listi: Oh yeah. I don't, not to be a hater, but. But I can't, I can't. It's true.

[:

[00:27:44] Sarah Listi: enough sun. Oh, okay. So now that does make sense.

[:

[00:27:51] Eric Goranson: Cause there's no way to get it through

[:

[00:28:09] Sarah Listi: Okay. It doesn't take much. Like it's, they're like toothpicks. I was like, I'm not trying to have that on my house. Like, we're just going to say no to that. But so that's crazy. I can't even

[:

[00:28:29] Sarah Listi: I can't imagine not having a garden though.

[:

[00:28:34] Eric Goranson: tough. And my neighbors did some, maybe a little more, they did some thinning of their trees, but it's a big grove we're in. Sure. So it's just, you

[:

[00:28:44] Sarah Listi: So you're like, is it worth last year? We tried to,

[:

[00:28:47] Sarah Listi: If it's too discouraging gardening, you need to feel the fruit of your labor. I don't know. We have a huge garden though. I'm such a big herbs and stuff

[:

[00:28:59] Sarah Listi: [00:29:00] So cherry tomatoes do good everywhere. They just, they can handle the heat. They don't mind if you're underwatering them. They're happy with everything. I don't want to tell you to, I don't want you to be sad, but I'm growing like green, yellow, red, orange, and white tomatoes this year. That's first time I've never even heard of them.

[:

[00:29:28] Sarah Listi: Okay. Cause Whataburger has spicy ketchup. Are you a Whataburger fan? I love Whataburger.

[:

[00:29:35] Sarah Listi: here. I gotta get over to it. Oh, it's so good. Okay. So the spice ketchup is out of this world. He's obsessed with and he likes to mix it with the regular one. And I gotta be honest, if you ever can buy the water burger ketchup at the grocery store, it is worth every penny.

[:

[00:29:50] Eric Goranson: here's what's funny. I saw a comedian the other day and I just laughed and he was doing a stand up bit about ketchup. Oh my God. I love it. And he was talking. He goes, you can really tell people when you go over to [00:30:00] their house for barbecue how they're living life.

[:

[00:30:04] Sarah Listi: ketchup they have. Yeah. No, that's valid. That's

[:

[00:30:11] Sarah Listi: Stop. Stop. I was totally going to say something else, but that's

[:

[00:30:20] Eric Goranson: Oh my God. That's hilarious. And he goes through this whole skit. I was dying.

[:

[00:30:35] Sarah Listi: That's a bunch of fries are good. The only thing I don't get is like, why are the sodas so big? Have you noticed that when you go to a fast food place? That's true. I mean, everything is bigger, but it's so strange. Cause you're like, I want a medium Coke, right? Occasionally I love a good cone. Got a headache.

[:

[00:30:57] Eric Goranson: of my mouth. It's I think what it is. It's people like [00:31:00] McDonald's out there that have, Hey, you want the small? It's a 1. 40. You want the large, extra large truck size?

[:

[00:31:11] Sarah Listi: drink it, but I'm okay throwing half of that away. Not okay with it, but I will because I'm like, whatever. Yeah. So that's how they Okay. But are you a diet Coke fan or a Coke fan? I'm a Coke person.

[:

[00:31:39] Sarah Listi: And then it's funny. My poor husband. Okay. Are you an onion eater? Oh yeah. Okay. I love cooked onions, grilled onions. I hate raw onions. I am one of those people. It's so weird. It happened when I was pregnant with my oldest. I can smell if you ate onions in the last 24 hours. Even if you were not around me, like this poor man, I'll be like, Hey, did you eat onions today?

[:

[00:32:19] Eric Goranson: Okay. So I'm going to ask you on this before we run out of time, but I know. How was that on murder house flip when you're in all these homes with all these homes that had dead people in them and you're going in these spaces and renovating,

[:

[00:32:38] Sarah Listi: Where, and you don't notice it when you first walk in the room, because at some point, somebody did enough to the house to conceal whatever happened. But there was one specific house, it was a Travis Alexander house, it was so sad, such a sad case. That was the Jodi Arians? Yes. And where they, we pulled back the carpet and it was blood on the [00:33:00] subfloor.

[:

[00:33:15] Eric Goranson: I knew that wasn't acting. I'm like, no, I saw that reaction.

[:

[00:33:25] Sarah Listi: That's real. Yeah. And it was funny. Cause my co host Mikkel, he is a riot. He was so fun to work with on this, but it was our reaction. He was like, I was like, Oh my God, this smell. And he was like, Oh my God. It was so funny. It was so real. It was so funny. It was so real.

[:

[00:33:54] Sarah Listi: Yeah. So it was, it was a way to end. It was the vibe. And then we had the [00:34:00] cool forensic guy come in. He was Dr. Frokman. I think it's really fascinating guy. And we're like spraying that spray everywhere. And it's like baseboards, the lights. I was like, I wish that show

[:

[00:34:10] Sarah Listi: hour longer. I always, I said the same thing.

[:

[00:34:27] Sarah Listi: Done that. It's

[:

[00:34:30] Sarah Listi: And we filmed for four or five days, I guess four days really on each home, but it's a lot to cram into four days. And so I feel like there's. It's crazy that you took those four days of filming too, and then made it into a 22 minute episode or 23 minutes.

[:

[00:34:47] Eric Goranson: talk about that with TV. That's an interesting thing. So I do with Bradley and I, and Ryan who helps us, he's on my team of reaching out and helping to get with companies and stuff like that. That's our entire film team and [00:35:00] production team and everything.

[:

[00:35:05] Sarah Listi: week. And people don't realize how much that is. That's a lot.

[:

[00:35:21] Sarah Listi: So it's hard too. It's funny because I'll film like a project for social, right? And you can, I, I have hours out. An insane amount of content on my phone. I have an eight terabyte plan on my, cause I have so much and I have deleted hours and hours of footage, but it's crazy because you post something 15 or 32nd clip on social and it's, I was.

[:

[00:35:50] Eric Goranson: We do, but it's still, it's just the process. Cause you're still having to build something and there's no

[:

[00:35:56] Eric Goranson: There's no shortcuts. Cause you still have to do the

[:

[00:36:16] Sarah Listi: Of course, this sounds great. 80 fruit trees. Nothing to do. I don't have anything. Totally a lot of free time. It's great. So we're doing this grape bar rebuild and it's so funny because my husband would be like, so how do you want to handle this? And I'm like, just goes through. It's so funny how when you are involved in construction, you're like, okay, no, if I do, this is going to have more force here.

[:

[00:36:50] Sarah Listi: It's so interesting how much our mind. It is. And you

[:

[00:37:00] Sarah Listi: it's funny because there's no shortcuts in that. I think I told you last time I saw you, I've had busy with a couple other smaller projects and campaigns that I've had going on.

[:

[00:37:30] Sarah Listi: There you go. I know i'm going with I said Sage green for it. I feel like that's a cool way to look at modern. Is it not? It's classic, but like it's a little of everything. I feel like it's going to be, it took me a long time to settle on that. There we go.

[:

[00:37:43] Sarah Listi: from the last conversation about that too.

[:

[00:38:02] Sarah Listi: Cause I feel like there's a need for it. You know what I mean? Absolutely. Yeah. No, it's funny.

[:

[00:38:15] Sarah Listi: there's barbecue out there. It smelled good when I was walking in hours ago and Oh my God.

[:

[00:38:37] Sarah Listi: And I'm like, I am. You are my people. Like I'm here for you. So

[:

[00:39:02] Eric Goranson: And

[:

[00:39:20] Sarah Listi: Absolutely. What is the last time I actually saw you? Would have been here last year. It was last year. I love man. That's too long. That's too long. Cause I didn't get it. Yeah. We, a couple of events I didn't make last year. Yeah, exactly.

[:

[00:39:32] Eric Goranson: We got everybody

[:

[00:39:40] Eric Goranson: cool crew. Yep. Going out with Catherine Emery last night. That was

[:

[00:39:49] Sarah Listi: And I will always absolutely adore her. And I'm always amazed by her energy and enthusiasm for everything. Like it's. It's you can just, it's infectious in the best way. Yeah. We were going over to

[:

[00:40:02] Sarah Listi: casino in.

[:

[00:40:05] Eric Goranson: Yeah, it was great food. Sit in there, had some great food. And then we all piled into an Uber van and there was like 10 people in a six person van, people sitting on the floor. We just all jumped over, went over to the event last night.

[:

[00:40:33] Sarah Listi: Are you

[:

[00:40:35] Sarah Listi: We should have seen that. Like I'm literally, there's something called fire safe. I see filter by what are we, there's so much to check out. There's so

[:

[00:40:45] Sarah Listi: lot of stuff here. Humidifier. Oh, a ventilation system for the garage. Okay. There we go. I can use that.

[:

[00:41:04] Sarah Listi: I'll take that because for that reason alone, is it a hassle at other ways? Yes, but it's fingers crossed. Yeah. We're not too bad. Are you ready to go get some food?

[:

[00:41:15] Sarah Listi: people find you out there? Okay. You can give your channels.

[:

[00:41:29] Eric Goranson: love it. Alright guys, I'm Eric G and you've been listening to Around the
